New Limited Edition Unic LEGO crane models
It’s a mini revolution—we’re launched a limited edition set of UNIC spider cranes with a twist—they’re all made entirely from LEGO bricks.
Just when you thought these dinky cranes couldn’t get any dinkier, we’ve shrunk the cranes to a scale of 1:40 to create a special set of LEGO models.
A total of 5 models have been produced, all of which will be on display on stand 129 at Vertikal Days, Haydock on Wednesday 22nd – Thursday 23rd June. We will also be displaying our life-sized Unic crane range, new Unic remote control and range of fly jibs.
All of the mini models feature a telescopic boom, rope and hook, and flexible outrigger legs that fold into a stowed position. The URW-095 is made from 120 parts and has a 13cm boom, whilst the URW-295 is made from 130 parts and includes an on-board control panel display .
The larger cranes, starting with the URW-376 feature moveable tracks , operators seat and mini lever controls. The URW-376 is made from 250 bricks and has a 23cm boom, whilst its bigger brother, the URW-506 has a 30cm boom and is formed from 600 bricks. The biggest crane, the URW-706 comes with a massive 53cm telescopic boom and is made from 750 pieces.
